Bruno STPLA Hernandez

Board Chair- Executive Director - Consultant - Elected Public Official

Born and raised in Los Angeles, I have an intimate understanding of the challenges, cultures, and resilience within inner-city communities. My firsthand experience, both lived and applied, drives my commitment to creating meaningful change for vulnerable and disenfranchised populations.

As a nonprofit executive, entrepreneur, and community leader, I leverage my expertise to spearhead initiatives that promote justice reform, empower underserved communities, and foster creativity through public art. Whether collaborating with global brands, facilitating mediation, or building impactful partnerships, my mission remains the same: to create transformative opportunities that inspire change and strengthen communities.

With  three decades of experience, including leadership in entrepreneurship, small business ownership, and corporate management, I have successfully built and scaled businesses across industries ranging from logistics to multi-location retail operations. My entrepreneurial journey has honed my ability to adapt, innovate, and drive results, equipping me with a unique perspective on leadership, business development, and community impact.

In addition to my work in justice reform and community development, I have actively engaged in frontline advocacy, crisis intervention, and direct service work for unhoused individuals. From facilitating mediation between unhoused populations and local agencies to developing initiatives that connect at-risk individuals with critical resources, I have worked to bridge the gap between systemic challenges and real-world solutions. My experience navigating complex social issues, both at the policy level and on the ground, has reinforced my commitment to solutions that prioritize dignity, stability, and long-term change for vulnerable communities.
