Abbot Kinney Street Fair

Sunday September 30th, 2007 10am - 6pm

Sunday, September 30th, Venice Art Walls set up a spot under the tent with Beyond Baroque and the Venice Arts Council, along with over 300 other vendors, to be apart of the 2007 23rd annual Abbot Kinney Street Fair. The event blocked off traffic from Main St. to Venice Blvd. to hold a celebration of the 102nd year of community. Two stages of live music, performance artists and dancers, along with food areas, a spirit garden, and the Green Living Pavilion brought in the local crowds of Venice to meet neighbors, check out vendors and celebrate.

Cre8's "Smile Now, Smile Later" piece from the 2007 Venice Art Walls Paint Out prominently shined in the background as many people found themselves at the Venice Art Walls booth reading and talking about the New Rules, the New Program, and participating in the community outreach the art walls provide by signing up as volunteers. Over all the event had a good turn out and provided more locals with information and opportunity to get involved with the Venice Art Walls and many other programs that were available at the Abbot Kinney Street Fair.
